Weaving fiction and documentary, Close Up follows the real trial of a man accused of impersonating a filmmaker and the dramatic reconstruction of the charges. Radically innovative, it experiments with, interrogates and blurs the boundaries between the artistic and the legal.

Screening of the stunning feature filmmaking debut of French-Senegalese director Mati Diop, which was awarded the 2019 Cannes Grand-Prix. Set in Dakar, Atlantics is a haunting tale of spiritual possession, migration, love and capitalist exploitation.
